When you were selling mini-motos, did you require prospective buyers to wear a helmet on test rides?

I'm guessing you did, since you would have to be a complete idiot not to. Having people crack their heads open would be bad for business, and effect your bottom line.

So, if I'm correct, how does that make you any different from an insurance company, looking to protect their bottom line?

Hmmm.....

You'd better stop making sense like that...you know how it sends Tard into spasms of name calling and profanity. :lmao:

I'm a person, not a country.

If you do something on private property, you are subject to private regulation.

When you do something in a free country, you are free to off yourself in whatever creative fashion you care to. It's called "natural selection"...perhaps you've heard of it?

Not many people are.

So, in effect, you made up your own country, and then passed a helmet law. That's not very Libertarian of you. Does Ron Paul know about this?

What's the name of this free country, whose laws you speak of?

Natural selection, natural selection...now that you mention it, it does ring a bell, but I'm not sure which version you're referring to.

The one that I learned, states that certain biological traits lead to more successful reproductive rates that others. Since there is no collaborative data to suggest that people who die as a result of motorcycle crashes where helmets were not worn, had trouble reproducing before the crash, you must be thinking of some other version of natural selection.

Now, if you could identify a "death by motorcycle crash without a helmet" gene, you might be on to something.

Till then, not so much.

So, I guess race tracks are countries too? Who knew?

Once upon a time, there was a place called The United States Of America...but that was another time, wasn't it? Now we live in nanny land.

Look up "Darwin award". Gee, hard to believe all this has slipped your mind...

No need. They identify themselves, by taking themselves out of the gene pool. No fuss, no muss.

The Darwin Award? That's your basis of understanding of how natural selection works? You're right, we do need better education in this country.

Since you often ride on a public road, (with a diminished physical capacity no less) without a helmet, is it your contention that the gene pool will be that much clearer if you die in the process?

No more of a reach than your rationale in this thread, homey.

Nice try, though.

I don't recall you using a helmet either, when you were here...and there's a dozen in the garage.

Pot; kettle; bullshit.

We won't even mention diminished capacity here...is there a need?

Following Darwin's primary usage[1] the term is often used to refer to both the evolutionary consequence of blind selection and to its mechanisms.[3][4] It is sometimes helpful to explicitly distinguish between selection's mechanisms and its effects; when this distinction is important, scientists define "natural selection" specifically as "those mechanisms that contribute to the selection of individuals that reproduce", without regard to whether the basis of the selection is heritable.

I'm sorry, you were saying?

Selective memory is a fascinating thing. It was the crappy open faced maroon colored one, that fit me best.

'memba?

I know both the dictionary definitions, and the street usage, thanks.

Yep, used it about half the time, IIRC.

See? Freedom to make your own decisions...nice ain't it?
