Fuel injected or carburated isn't a requirement?

dReWpY 03-05-2008 02:34 PM

must be fuel injected

dReWpY 03-05-2008 02:35 PM

he wants something that he doesnt have to mess with the carbs, he has a 900rr already

Rider 03-05-2008 02:40 PM

3-4K for a fuel injected 600? Good luck. Might be able to get a salvaged 636 for that amount though.

dReWpY 03-05-2008 03:58 PM

thats not really that bad of a range for a track bike

HaChayalBoded 03-05-2008 09:49 PM

the fuel injection will make his search difficult, whats the problem with carbs?

I have a nice Hawk GT that would make an excellent track bike. It's carbed but I cleaned the carbs when I got the bike, I rode it every day for the past 2 months (and I'm in NY!) and it starts right up even in 10 degree weather

Guy at work is selling his race '03 SV650. GSXR forks and front brakes, Penske rear shock, SharkSkinz fairings, bored to 677cc with race pistons. $6000. I think he moved on to Ducatis.
