NE Rally Definites
 

If you know you'll be at the rally and need a bed, post here- when you plan to arrive and leave. I have six rooms reserved Oct. 1-4. All with two twin beds, including breakfast at the diner. $74.12 per room per night. Let me know fast people, so I don't get stuck with extra rooms.

A twin bed is small, a double you can fit 2 people on and not be worried about having a sword fight

Bummer...my anniversary weekend AND my mom and aunt arrive here the 1st and leave the 6th. I'm definitely out. Hell, I was just in Tunkhannock, PA a couple of weeks ago on a XX rally at a golf resort. THAT was interesting...:lol:

I don't think OTB is coming. As of abot two weeks ago he couldn't make it. I will check with him again.

I will be down on the 1st (can't do the 2nd because I'm scheduled for x-rays and the 3rd and 4th the family decided to plan something) for a day trip unless something comes up. Depending on the condition of my back (the reason for said x-rays) I may be caging it so I won't need a room. :(

What is your schedule Friday during the day? We are planning on touring the HD factory sometime between 9am and 2pm.

Looks like there are 4 folks staying in the hotel, so my suggestion is that (being the cheapskate that I am) we all 4 split a room. If Tommy is bring a guest I dont think they want us in that room so it would leave the 3 of us in 1 room and he has his own.

My real suggestion is that since there are so few of us, Marko puts us all up in his house.... (HINT HINT HINT)

Before you do that, phenix had 6 rooms, see how many he still has. That being said, my bro and I could share a bed, and split the room with other folks.

It looks like I'm gonna be leaving N jersey around 2 or 3 so don't worry about me for the plant tour. However do worry about me for the beer after.

I was going to call to take one of those rooms he booked. I will let you know later in the week if my friend will be going or not otherwise we could all share a room if need be.

We did a t-shirt for the southern rally. You could of bought a t-shirt from the spreadshirt place and did it.

I am in process of remaking that place to make it better.

That's cause I am redesigning everything. I can only have 3 designs on the site at once. All the shirts disappeared because I took off that design to put up the rally design for this year so the people who didn't get a shirt could purchase a rally shirt. After I have that up for a little bit, I have a design for a shirt that may sell well. The one about louds pipes and learning to ride.

Once I sell more products I am allowed more designs.

Got home alright, stopped at home depot for some gas for my torch, gonna bend back the brake pedal, replace the clutch lever, and figure out why the throttle sticks at WOT

I would be getting up there a couple hours ago, would you have been there. :lol: I would of attended a rally of me.

Made it back in one piece about 9pm- too freaking tired to do anything but warm up and sack out. Just short of 1000 miles on this trip- a quick ride around my town would have fixed that. Took the LONG way home- 6 hours from Scranton. Hell, it was a nice day- why not? Spoke to a couple VFR guys that couldn't believe an HD made it from Detroit :lol:

Had a great time meeting more of our crazy TWFix people- and we should pick up at least one new member. Little Derf :lol: Poor bastard- why does someone always have to take a hit at these events?

So, grand total in riding mileage for me and Gas Man is 415 miles. We did a nice 77 mile loop around my home town Sunday while everyone else made a break for home. Took a few more pics. Introduced him to in-laws. And capped off the trip with a steak dinner. We had an awesome time. What a good guy.

Now, bear in mind that I had 1022 miles for the season when GM got here. So we did over 40% of my total season mileage up to that point over the weekend. To say that I am sore would be an understatement.

SHIT!! I would have like to see anybody keep up with me on my way home... 6.5 hrs in travel time back to Detroit. That sir is not slow. That is LONG AND HARD!


I banged out 1400 miles from the trip. Only 100 shy of expected. DECENT for sure. Not thirdgen but good.

Well, not many of us can keep pace with ThirdGen's miles. And I'm still fucking sore.

In case anyone was concerned or cared I am home(well at work now) and live and well.

Sun was a crazy day took me a bout 4 hrs to get home, chris and I railed on the highway and mor eor less got home threw the prille rin the garage, hooked up the trailer and loaded up the track bike and was off to njmp. Def tired and sore now but had one hell of a weekend. :rockwoot:

Glad you made it back safe and sound.

Realized this morning I lost my razor :-( I just bought a shitload of new blades, and can't find a razor that will accept them. Fuck. The blades are the most expensive part!
