my arai broke so i picked up this shoei and a dark smoke visor....i like it... a lil noisy tho...but still:dthumb:

If it's a RF-1000 I love mine. Like u said, a little noisy, but just wear earplugs and its great.

Great lookin helmet. No matter what helmet you have, earplugs are a must.

cosign on the noise issue, but you gotta admit its the sexiest series of lids out there.

Nice choice. That was gonna be my new lid but the x11 fit a lot better.

shoei makes hot street graphics, but I wish they'd make more race ones...arai and Suomy owns them in that department

OOOOoooo pretty. Nice helmet! I'm surprised you didn't stick with Arai though. What made you switch to Shoei?

I thought Arai and Shoei were for completly different head shapes. How can you go from one to the other and have it fit right?

it feels fine to me, i was gonna get an Arai RX-7 Corsair Tommy Gun one but it was to small of a fit for me. The shoie felt fine.

I was gonna get the blue one but i figured the black is pretty tits:drool:

STG has the Tommy Gun got $505 right now.

I tried on both the rx7 and rf1000 recently and they felt relatively close. It depends on which model you go with. Arai has a couple different ones and shoei has a few too.

The Arai X-11 is for long oval head, which is what the Shoei RF1000 is for as well.

Fixed it for you. The shoei x11 seems to be for a bit more round head.
