TrackNIGHTS are fun, aren't they?

We did one earlier this year.

Was this recently?

I thought you were done for a while?

Pretty awesome man.

EpyonXero 06-07-2011 12:02 PM

Nice, what camera/mount are you using?

OneSickPsycho 06-07-2011 12:25 PM

Nice to see you healed up and back on two...

anthonyk 06-07-2011 12:41 PM

Damn, that ain't Qatar lighting, that's for sure. Looks like a ton of fun!

After my bad wreck in December I healed up and did a trackday on 12 March, where I proceeded to highside on the first lap due to a hose clamp failing in the middle of a corner. Was banged up a little bit, just needed a clip on to be able to ride the bike again. I said I was done with street for a while, knowing I'd be primarily track.

I was using a bud's GoPro HD with the standard mount that comes with it. This footage was taken this past weekend. They got another one in August, the only way I won't go is if I'm dead! So much fun.

Is that the suction cup mount?

DLIT 06-07-2011 05:26 PM

Nah, the adhesive mount. Had the suction cup, didn't use it though.

My first thought. I bet it was brighter in person though.

DLIT 06-07-2011 06:32 PM

It was brighter in person, but there was definitely some dark patches. No complaints though, once your eyes are used to it you're good. And I found out I won a free trackday too! They waited to draw the raffle winners until today. Badass!

Moving fast dude...knew you would be tearin it up again in 3-4 months. hahahaha.

They had a few night track days here and was thinking about going, but they started at like 5 and went to midnight.....and in the evening these track get real windy.

I actually love riding a well lit track on a summer night. Air is crisp, bike runs better. Pavement's still warm from the day. The lighting can actually let you see the sheen on the surface better, and read your lines better. I love it.
