So you think your ready to ride?

Do you remember how hot you got last summer, sweating after hours of saddle time.
Now put your nose in that shinny helmet. Wash it out now, before its time to ride.
I was reading in Motorcyclist magazine a couple of weeks ago and it said it was OK to wash out the inside with hair shampoo or woolite. Check yours to be sure.
If your pads come out geter done as well.:hitfan:

Or you might be smelling :moon:all year long.

:idk: I just thought all the neighborhoods around here had dead skinks in them. I might check out my helmet now

I just bought a new helmet, problem solved.

fpzx10 03-05-2008 03:09 PM

:dvrofl: Hell, it's fun. There are hella lot worse places on earth.

dReWpY 03-05-2008 03:57 PM

i like mine stinky, that way no one goes near it

Yeah the back armor in my jacket is just plain funky.... Some soap, a sponge and a little lysol spry should help that though.

fnfalman 03-05-2008 08:37 PM

Use a skull cap from Under Armor. It really helps contain the funk.

t-homo 03-05-2008 09:02 PM

I washed my helmet pads, jacket, and gloves right before I hung them up for the winter. I just used some anti-bacterial stuff on the armor.

OneSickPsycho 03-05-2008 09:06 PM

I've never had a helmet get stinky.

Mudpuppy 03-17-2008 11:45 PM
