Nice!! :dthumb: Guess the AF finally got you paid?
|
Somebody got a nice check in the mail...
Nice work. You get the same HID kit you ordered last time? And you think you can figure out how to hook up your speedo healer, or do I have to come down there and do it for you again. |
yeah finally got my reimbursement for moving... paid a little debt off... and set a side some for savings... the rest... well went to what's above.
yeah I think I got it Cutty... though I've been told this one is NOT plug and play... no worries though. and yes same brand DDM for the HID's but not the same type obviously... as the others were dual hi/low... I'm gonna try the 55w this time too... my others were 35w... :idk: gonna be tired as hell next week... 12hr days at work... then coming home and wrench'n on the bike for a few hours each night... I wouldn't have it any other way :D |
Its nice to be Ebbs!!!
|
hell yes it is! :D
gonna have to call Amorok... see if he's willing to keep me company durring the wrench'n... always nice to have another hand around too if need be... |
Are you just trying to recreate my bike in silver?
Why in the world did you buy gilles chain adjusters and gp stands? I don't think you are going to be adjusting your chain on the order of race guys. |
I liked them... that's why...
and no fucker... I'm ordering white fairings  |

http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/c...0090416019.jpg gonna see if he can do a custom one for me... yes... orange will be in there  |
lol you making sure you make it pretty enough that you wont have "a loss of situational awareness" and flip this bitch huh?
and with all the sliders, i doubt you would hurt it when that station wagon of hot chicks roll up again ;) should be lookin gd, id help u turn a few wrenches (or just drink your beer lol) if you was closer, have fun! :pat: |
yeah... I looked for wheelie bars... but no such luck... so I went with sliders... EVERYWHERE!... fuck... just remembered... I forgot to list these...

Did the 600RR come stock with a 520 chain? You changing gearing from stock I assume?
|
No it didn't... and yeah I'm going up 1 in the back... I don't really need to... but I wanted to replace the chain and felt like change'n out the sprockets at the same time... Cycle sector had a deal on renthal sprockets and DID ERV3 chains... but didn't offer the rear sprocket in the same size as stock... so I went 1 tooth higher... no big deal... shouldn't effect my MPG much... and not like I'll be winding this thing out top end either

Yeah I bought the bike used from trip's bro... put 1000 miles on it... but it's sat for a while now... I've cleaned the chain and lubed it once already because it was already showing rust... damn sea air... but I had the money... and figure if nothing else... I'll keep these around for spares...
I didn't need a new chain or sprocket for sure... just wanted it for peace of mind:idk: |
Nice!

you're definitely on another level from me! how use some of that $ and put some miles on your bike and come to the damn rally! :D |

The house $17k Uma's bike... $2k Its not all about the money as much as time... |
good lord... well take the time!
naw I know what ya mean... I wanna hit up a track day... and have the $ just don't have the time... sucks... |
Yeah, I got some other things going on that are closer and easier for me to pull off. Plus on these I'll be riding in a group which is nice in case there are any problems.
|
well hell if you were riding down... I'd ride up to say dayton and meet ya!
I'm take'n the 2nd through the 11th off... gonna spend my birthday RIDING... :D |
Shit I can't even keep my days straight... when is it again.. for like the 10th time...
|
7-11th of may... but I'll be in TN on the 2nd... and if nothing else... I'll be riding aound by myself till Trip, NtS, Tigger, and I all meet up on the 6th to head down to Suches.
come on gas... you know you wanna go... all the cool kids are doing it... |
Man I don't know... lets put it this way... it will cost me $400 right off the get to go. That is the cost for the first service, which I will have to do shortly or right near that time (at 700 now and its done at 1k). So there is a good chance the bike will be at the shop for a few days near there. Hard to put miles on when I'm working and it keep storming.
Plus I don't get off work till 8am on the 7th after working midnights, so that day is screwed, I have to be back to work on the 12th at 7am and that only leaves 4 days, and I think its 1.3 days each way... see the math. Not much time for fun. Which equals "no joy" for the effort factor. |
yeah I hear ya... it's all good... there will be other chances to meet the great Ebbs... don't you worry.
hell the Indy Moto gp is Aug30th... you could come down for that... though I can't promise I'll be there... as that's Hurricaine season... and I'm on the disaster team and if they activate it... I'll be called back and have to shelter with all the students... GHEY |
Indy would be do-able cause that isn't too far. Plus I could ride down with Rider if he went.
|
and he got a bike... or he could ride bitch...
|
So I went out and installed the sliders... well tried to... got the frame and engine sliders on... but the axle sliders... yeah don't have a socket big enough... FUCK. oh well... check sears out tomorrow.
I really wish my other parts were here... I've got time to do them right now... but no... I'll have to do them after work next week... teh SUX... but I do have Friday off... and not leaving till saturday... so who knows :D |
Holy shit that's a lot of stuff..
|

Good looking stuff brother! |
Dear lord, you just had to change it huh?
Looks good, cant wait to see the bike...if you havent already ordered the bar ends, um, your throttlemeister IS a set of bar ends, save your cash, buy me dinner. |
yeah decided against the throttlemisters... gonna get a throttle rocker instead...:idk:
|
Ok... so I got the Exhaust, rearsets, chain adjusters, and all the sliders... also the fender eliminator.
but can't find my fuck'n dremmel so gonna have to wait until tomorrow to install it all... |
Use a pocket knife!
I'd neg rep you... but i have to rep others first. |
what kind of pocket knife do you have that will cut through 1/8" plastic and my exhaust heat shield :idk? or grind off the mount for my rear brake resivour off my sub frame and rear set?
|
Ebbs...do you use a relay for your HID's? Or run those bitches off the stock harness?

www.tripageled.com He signed up here a few days ago, was hoping he would post up. |
Tripage is the shit. Dude will take care of ya. Yeah I got the relay. Didn't have it on my zzr and never had any issues. But the lights delayed a bit when the bike as cranking over from the factory. The rr the lights come on as soon as you turn the key.
Tripage's relay is like 40 I think. Not too bad. |
Quote:
|
Yeah that's an idea. Hid lights will probably be on that list.
|
Nice dude...Im jealous.
Gonna look Tits when you install everything. |
Shocking that there's no Buell listing on his site. I'm sending him an email.
|
Send him a pm... I'm sure the relay isn't bike specific.

um, ok, pocket knife and die grinder! Me loves my die grinder. |
Badass man. I'm jealous of a lot of those things.

You mention Throttlemeister and bar end sliders. You can't do both, by the way. |
Yeah... Rae reminded me. Ill get the throttle rocker
|
Quote:

Throttlemeister is badass. You wouldn't regret getting a set vs. sliders, especially if you're doing those long trips like you've done.
|

|
Yeah I knew that on throttlemeister. I thought crampbuster sued throttlerocker and put them out of biz for patent infringement.

I got one of those, and its been great so far
|
Crampbusters have a few different styles to the thing...
