I'm not looking for anything right now anyways.. I need a couple more years on my bike... but I'm 95% sure the next bike is gonna be a V-Twin... and Buell is rank'n way up there for me at the moment.... |

If he had it modded up considerably that may be the reason... though I've seen enough turbo'ed XB12's to think it might still be a fluke... |

I hope the 1125R gets some other colors... though the XB12Ss looks fuck'n bad ass in Redhttp://www.buell.com/common/08/stree...ront_angle.jpg |

I was at a harley dealership today, and even now being drunk I still cant think of a good reason to own one, although I didn't ask for a testride.

My thoughts on the 1125R -it's different -it seems to be comfortable to ride -Austrain engine, AMERICAN made -specs rival a 1098... for far less money -lifetime warranty belt (no lube, no adjusting, no need to replace) |
Quote:
and is it Austrian or Australian? |

Made by BRP Rotax, same as the aprilia :dthumb: |

:lmao: Kind of kidding. The Buells are a love them / hate them thing. I suggest doing a test ride. And, they are one of the few manufacturer that will allow test rides... DO IT. Though, I usually wait until they have a give away to do it (they have to bribe most to do it). |

what advantage does an R6 have on the track vs the 1125R? I'm not the most educated on this, so i'm going mostly off what i've read, and sheer stats. R6 weighs in 9 lbs lighter dry 1125 has more hp, and more torque, and the power is everywhere, vs just in the top end. Shouldn't this make it easier to go fast around the track? Less problems finding the right gear for every corner. No driveline lash, as you have a constant tension belt vs a chain. Just my thoughts... tell me why i'm wrong. |

I have always like the chassis on the Buells and they are a shrap looking machine but the ones I rode with the pushrod engine circa 1936 were slugs by comparison to everyother twin I rode wich is why I wnet with my Duc. Had the 1125 been available I mught have gone that route. It looks like Mr Buell finally returned to building sportbikes
