Getting lost on purpose
I love doing that on my bike. Yesterday, I had the best ride. I knew the general area I was in, but I was on some backroads in the middle of nowhere. I would just take a turn if the road looked interesting. It was a really sunny afternoon so I knew which direction I was going, and I knew if I drove far enough which major roads I would run into. But I had never been on those roads before. Saw some beautiful country. I kept thinking "I should stop and get a pic for the POTM contest", but I was having way too much fun to stop.
Oh, and yesterday confirmed my love for the SV. After the winter mods, it handles great in the curves, but I could also ride all day given the riding position. Those of you who have known me know that I've been through bike after bike. I think this one is a keeper. |
Nothing wrong with that type of ride.
...just don't do it too far from gas stations.:lol: |
I filled up first. And drove really fast when I started to hear banjos

awesome man, glad you found a keeper!

I normally ride with a group, but there are tons of times when I have no idea where we are and just keep following. |

hard getting lost in south jersey. Our roads are setup too well ;)
|
I may have missed it - did you mod the bars, seat, etc to get the ride position you wanted or is it stock?
|
I do this all the time. I know my directions pretty well so it's hard for me to truly get "lost" but I love heading off on my own and just seeing where the road takes me.
