Police officers show up but can only watch bikers escape because of a strict department chase policy. Reaction of bikers who saw this video is almost unanimously negative, stating rightly that there are other ways to honor their fallen friends (group ride, charity event, etc) without giving such a public negative image of bikers. Police say that motorcyclists involved are obstructing the roadway, which is a class B misdemeanor, and that they are reviewing the video to try to identify the participants.

We know that all "sportbikers" are not bad, but with these type of acts, its so hard to overcome the sterotype and in the eyes of the law we will always be guilty until proven innocent

This type of behavior seems very prevalent here in Dallas. Its part of the reason you can't find a used Busa without an extended swingarm.

I see that a lot here too. It seems liekthere a lot more stretched sportbikes in the Panhandle than in S Florida

Video is gone now. Hopefully the police got the information they needed. I'm sure they did, as there appears to be a ton of videos of that event up.
