what advantage does an R6 have on the track vs the 1125R?
I'm not the most educated on this, so i'm going mostly off what i've read, and sheer stats.

R6 weighs in 9 lbs lighter dry
1125 has more hp, and more torque, and the power is everywhere, vs just in the top end.
Shouldn't this make it easier to go fast around the track?
Less problems finding the right gear for every corner.
No driveline lash, as you have a constant tension belt vs a chain.

Just my thoughts... tell me why i'm wrong.


I was saying that in regards to the XB_R pic I quoted. Don't know enough about the 1125 yet.

I have always like the chassis on the Buells and they are a shrap looking machine but the ones I rode with the pushrod engine circa 1936 were slugs by comparison to everyother twin I rode wich is why I wnet with my Duc. Had the 1125 been available I mught have gone that route. It looks like Mr Buell finally returned to building sportbikes
