Hey drewpy

How's the power delivery and powercurve of the Buell compare to the RC?

dReWpY 11-07-2009 08:10 PM

i am in the process of doing a solid comparasion, i just want to make sure the buell has been properly broken in and is running at 100% with the mods i want done, the rc wasnt stock, neither should the buell :dthumb:

cool

dReWpY 11-07-2009 08:12 PM

i wil say, the buell feels faster, lighter and more comfortable

tached1000rr 11-07-2009 08:13 PM

less heat from the buell?

dReWpY 11-07-2009 08:16 PM

alot less heat, easier to move at slow speeds, better instrumentation, an engine so smooth i cant tell a difference between being solo and two up, still pulls like a freight train past 130-140+ 2up, stopped there cause the passenger was not exactly happy with that lol

i love the fact that the engine is right, there, i hated to pull the damn fairings off the rc and put it back, always took forever to get the tiny ass screws in just right so you didnt strip them, the oil filter is more expensive, but it lasts longer, the entire bike seems to be more user friendly, the belt is zero maintence and with the miles i put on its a nice feature.

the lights are the best of any bike i have ever ridden

gas milage is 32 when railing it

37 when not so railing it lol

downside is insurance, which was only 100 more a year, and no storage at all

tached1000rr 11-07-2009 08:33 PM

LOL we have to get an updated pic of you on the buell for your signature

ok, so it's an 08. I assume you have all the reflashes done to it.
What other mods you planning?

On mine I get about 35 running it ragged, and if I really baby it commuting I get about 45.
