Has anyone seen this color?

They have a few down here at Southern Honda. They just got in and they look  in person. While I was there a guy bought one or had previously bought one and it was parked outside. It looks absolutely SWEET :rockwoot:

I've seen at least four riding around the streets of Vegas since I've been back.

Trip 04-30-2008 09:19 AM

It's ghey, only way to make it look decent is to remove the stickers so it doesn't look like a tardcycle.

I would love to steal the subframe and passengers pegs off it though.

Rider 04-30-2008 09:19 AM

I've seen them. I bet they'd look good if you took off those gay ass decals on the fairings.

dReWpY 04-30-2008 09:40 AM

i dont think those are decals, i think they are actually part of the plastic

They are decals, I been up close to one and there has been some people remove them on 600rr.net.

dReWpY 04-30-2008 09:45 AM

im retarded

NONE_too_SOFT 04-30-2008 09:49 AM

yea, def decals. saw this at the bike show a few months back

personally. i say pfffft to it. If i wanted weird decals i'd put em on myself.

looks like a bike design from Icon.

That's what I thought when I saw this bike for the first time.

Drewpy, Honda sometimes clearcoats over some of their stickers, so you are not completely retarded. They didn't clearcoat over these though.

neebelung 04-30-2008 10:22 AM

 I like it; there's a few of them rollin around here. Thing is, in person/normal lighting, the design is MUCH more subtle. You have to really LOOK to notice it.

Thats very true.. But taking the graphics off look so much better... :dthumb:

Agreed, but it's still not bad, IMO. For a bike with graphics, it's subtle at least.

I'm not sure what that gay shit is on the side of it...but the rest looks good.

Vettezilla (Impala Balko) 04-30-2008 11:15 AM

Saw an 08 1000rr the other day. Looks fucking great. I don't think the front is near as bad in person.

:iagree: I dont understand why people are bashing it still. I really like it and its probably one of the more comfortable bikes Ive sat on IMHO. If I was looking for a 1000 I would prob end up getting one of those, no questions asked.

JK 04-30-2008 09:36 PM

its not bad... i still want them to offer a primer'd version of bikes with the price reduced. since they add $1000 for stickers, they can take off $2000 for no stickers and no paint. just wishing--

I was just thinking about that today. I could rock a primerd bike for $2000 off MSRP. And you could always paint it the color you want later.

JoJoYZF 04-30-2008 11:51 PM

Just the fact that this thing is called their "graffiti edition" means that its something I dont have much interest in riding, it seems like is meant for those more concerned with their image than their riding.

And the 1000rr definitely looks better in person. The nose doesnt look as bad and the exhaust is smaller than I thought. Id still like an aftermarket pipe if I owned one, but its not all that bad.

Mrs. Colleen 04-30-2008 11:54 PM

Dealership here has/had one...not really a fan. :idk:

the chi 05-01-2008 04:12 PM

I gotta go with Nee on this one, I havent seen it in person and I hate stickers, but this doesnt look half bad...
