Good Deal????

I am looking to buy my first dirt bike. Looked around here for a used one but they are all POS. Went to local shop the other day and was offered a brand new 2007 125 for $1800.00 out the door. Is this a good deal????

Need more info.

There is a world of difference between a 2007 Japanese 125 MX bike and a 2007 Chinese 125 pitbike.

What brand is it?

2 stroke or 4?

Trail bike, play bike, MX bike?

Suzuki 125 4 stroke

It's a good deal, I'd go with a 250 dual-sport (street legal), this way you can go on all the FS roads around Max Patch. Otherwise you'd have to load your bike and and drive all the way to Tellico or any other ORV park.

And I'd recommend to look for e-start (it comes in handy if you play in the dirt and drop it on a steep grade)

Thanks!!! Is the 250 short person ridable??? My daughter is only 5'2 (one reason I chose the 125) Can't really afford 2 bikes right now. Will check into the e-start.

BTW how much snow have you got? I got 10-11" here and it's still comming down:panic::panic::panic:

250 are relatively high off the ground but if ur use to a sport bike it shouldnt b much of a difference

Most 250th dual-sports will be just fine (or can be lowered if necessary) - look for a DR250, KLR250 or maybe XT200. True off-road bikes tend to have more ground clearance and are higher.

We have great good dual-sport rides almost every weekend (maybe not this one ) with all kinds of skill levels - we should hook up!

snow: we only got about 5 inches - so far. Hwy23 is totally covered, and our road prob. wont be plowed till all the snow is gone :idk:

I made it to work and back anyway (I'm used to this from Germany), but many peeps did not show up at work. :idk:
