The '09 Yummys... er... Yammys
 

Dropped by the local Yamaha dealer last night, to check out what accessories they had in stock for my bike (none :panic:)... but what they DID have was the full spectrum of '09 R6's and R6S's.... HOLY SHIT... :drool:

The new white/grey/red R6 is simply stunning... just a spectacular (little bitty) bike. Yamaha really went all out with cooridnating the metal elements on each bike with it's respective color scheme (I'm not sure if the white is the LE for '09, but it's the only one with black fork tubes -- the rest all have gold).

Then there's a copper & black (with teensy little flames) version that is just STUNNING. The paint looks very custom, and more than a little reminiscent of the copper/black GSXR1000 (in my opinion).

And of course the Raven is sex on wheels -- GOLD wheels, to be exact (the Raven edition of the R6S also got the gold wheels).

Really makes me anxious to see the '09 R1's now... :rockout:

The new R1 makes me want to puke. Fucking ugly as hell.

See, from what I've seen, I actually like it. Not as much as previous incarnations, but I think it's sexy as hell (though I know I'm one of few who does).

The white R6 needs black seats, the red seats are fucking hideous.

I don't like the headlights on the R1 and the tail section is like a wide body aircraft, but the R6 is still tits.

Wide body aircraft? Ever looked at teh tail on that GSXR of yours?

:shrug: I like em. If only for the fact that it's something different.

The gix tail is much more narrow.
