After my California trip, I setup a IB ride with a few locals. Yesterday was the start. We left out of Knoxville at 5 am and got back at 12:30 am. We ended up with about 10 bikes. Was only doing about 100 miles per run. Surprised we made it under 20 hours with that many bikes.

That would have been cool!

Thats the way to do it, 100 miles at a time, stop take a 10 minute break, bathroom, drink, smoke (gas if you need to) and go, rinse and repeat.

Was this an official IB ride or just something you guys put together?

You don't know if it is official til they accept your paperwork. We did the documentation, we will see if they will give us the certificates.

How many total miles?

1032, we are planning a BBG or BB if we have to stop too much for the spring.

If you "would of" put 12:30AM, I wouldn't have had to read your post more than once for it to make sense. :poke:

oops, I about did the same damn thing on the form too. I've always wondered why it changes at 12. Why not at 1 when the numbers go back? LOL

Yeah, first cert. You have to do this to qualify for the BBG. Thats the one I really want.
