Bell Star

Got the new lid and I must say it's quite nice! Not a huge fan of the design but the finish is top notch for sure. The lining is on par with my Shark lids. Best of all, the damn thing is pre set up for a J&M headset!!!!:rockwoot:

The box contained a PREMIUM bag. You'd pay $50 for the bag. The bag contains a spare shield holder and a couple pockets for gloves, etc. It also came with spare cheek pads, the 40mm pads were installed and it came with 50mm as well, pretty cool. There's a "stabilizer strip" to install and manuals, lube, etc. Of course, I haven't ridden with it yet but it's pretty light and has a crap load of air intakes, so I'm guessing a lot of airflow.

Here are some pics,

Looks better in the pics you took AL :dthumb:

You'll have to let us know how you like it after you ride in it.

Interested in knowing how loud it is.
SBTG compared it to the X-11, as just as comfortable, slightly quieter but with less airflow.

Have you ever used a X-11? Just wondering for comparison.

if it werent for the snakes, i wouldve gotten that one instead of the gobert. the color combo otherwise is pretty badass.

agreed. The snakes just throw it off imho...but for $100, I couldn't go wrong.

Nah, my last Shoei was an X-8 or 9... Then I was all Arai, now Shark. maybe Bell next...if they can come out with a reasonable design that is. Suomy, Bell and Icon have never made a design that I REALLY liked.:idk:
