That's rider skill, the guy on the 250 is pretty fuckin good. It also takes considerable more skill to make the big bike go fast, the big bike rider wasn't skilled enough.

I had this happen to me at Nashville vs a motard. Dude on a motard was fuckin awesome, I would lose him in the straight and by the time we got back around to the straight, he was reeling me in.

You could tell by the lines the guy was taking and how late he was braking into corners that he had a lot more skills than those other riders.
