Helmet question

I have been using my shark helmet as my winter/cold riding helmet because its good at keeping a lot of air out and it doesnt fog up like my shoei does. Are there any other types that are good at not fogging up, and are hopefully a little cheaper. The bike show is next month and was thinking of picking one up since the shark is at the 5 yr mark now.

Suomy. Though, fit is more important than fog. That said, my Suomy fits beautifully and the shield has a coating. You only need to be really careful cleaning it.

Agreed on the fit. The shoei RF series lids fit me very well so thats why I stick with them. I figured I can try soem on at the bike show anyway.

Doesn't Shoei support pinlock now? If so A fog sheild is no problem....Otherwise, buy whatever helmet you like best and a Fog City fog shield....

Pin lock is awesome.

Yep, tigger, I know the new shoei modular is a pinlock helmet.

somehow my shield got scratched underneath my pinlock shield, scratched both faceshield and pinlock thingy.

yes somehow dirt got under the pinlock, i didn't take it often. its basically my dedicated pinlock shield.

i have a older arai shield w/ a fog city insert that IMO was a better product.
