May I ask a favor?

Many of you already know but, for those who don't, I'm an actor. I've done a couple of feature films but, not at the Spielberg level. More like "A ScyFy Original" type of movie. I am currently starring in a webseries called The Stranger. www.whoisthestranger.net It's a murder mystery in a small town with a supernatural twist. I play Gabriel Tilson, Chief of Police.
The episodes are short, 15-40 minutes so, if you find yourself with some free time, please watch and know that it gets better with each episode!

Now, for the favor! We are currently in the running to win the Vancouver Web Fest Webisode Challenge! We have been bouncing around between 3rd and 5th place and we need votes! To vote for us go to www.indi.com and click the three little bars on the top left and it will take you to a join link. Once you've joined the site click here: http://indi.com/4027E78E
From there you can click the blue "Vote" button. You can vote every 12 hours and we greatly appreciate every vote we get! You can also watch the first episode of the series there.

I thank all who vote in advance for their kindness! I do hope many of you will watch the show and become fans! There are 14 episodes out in season 1 right now and the final episode of season 1 will be airing soon! Full episodes are available here http://www.whoisthestranger.net/full-episodes.html

Yeah, I left it open in a browser at work... so I'll vote every morning when I get in. Did again this morning.

Well I'll definitely say that you can act. Not wooden at all, like so many people in indie series.

Turbo Ghost 01-06-2015 08:14 PM

I thank you both very much! I just wish we could break into the top two! I'll take third. It's respectable!

Papa_Complex 01-13-2015 04:55 AM

Yup, third place. Not bad at all :)

Turbo Ghost 01-13-2015 05:26 AM

I'm pleased with it! Thank you guys for helping!

Considering my favourite actress is in the "Judges Pick", it makes for a good finish :)

I haven't looked at the judges picks yet. Who is she?

The Judge's Pick was "Chop Socky Boom." This episode of that show should tell you all that you need to know ;)

Oh, and in case you didn't know about it, this will be the first year for Seattle Web Fest. It was created, via Kickstarter, by the creators of three web series (one of them the creator of Chop Socky Boom, who also acts in it).

I watched the first episode yesterday and the one you posted today. So, which one is your favorite? The pink-haired girl was pretty nice!

Pink hair (frequently blonde, blue, red...), blue eyes; Jen Page. She's been around the indie scene, especially geek comedy, for years now. She started with a walk-on in the first "Gamers" movie. More recently she's been in a bunch of the Dead Gentlemen Productions/Zombie Orpheus Entertainment stuff and played a major role in "Project London." She's an actress, model, artist, and gamer.

If all goes well she should be doing a couple of photoshoots that at least in part use stuff that I made. She'll be incorporating a chainmail mini dress that I made into a Steampunk shoot and some scale pieces I made in a mermaid themed shoot :D

It's hard to beat the combination of hot with legs up to her chin, great personality, and multi-talented. Some of the guys she's worked with, for more than a decade, are firmly convinced that she's either a vampire or some sort of Fey, because she hasn't aged a day in all that time.

Just makes you sick, doesn't it? ;)

To quote a classic: There is nothing like a dame!

Papa_Complex 01-20-2015 08:45 AM

Does your third place finish give you screen time at the festival? Are you going to submit to Seattle Web Fest?

Turbo Ghost 01-20-2015 08:21 PM

I'm not sure. I doubt we'll do the Seattle fest. Right now we're working on the IAWTV awards in Vegas!

Papa_Complex 01-22-2015 11:21 AM

Unfortunately I don't see you in the list of "official selections." That sucks.

No biggie. We can honestly say we're an award-winning series now! I threw my hat in the ring for Best Actor at the IAWTV awards. No idea how many I'm up against but, even a nomination will be great! Especially if there are a lot of entries!

Papa_Complex 05-20-2015 06:48 PM

If you're interested, they announced the submissions dates for next year's Seattle Web Fest.

Turbo Ghost 05-20-2015 07:30 PM

Thank you sir! I'll pass that on to our leader!
