That's why it is a spec class.

There is no "building" allowed. You run spec tires and are only allowed to upgrade a few parts on the bike (exhaust, rearsets, etc.)

It help avoid the insane...

My thinking with the 250's is that sure they are slow but as long as they are all equal, the racing should still be fun. I knwo what you are saying though, both our local tracks are horsepower...

We just got a 250 spec class added to our CCS grid for 2012 and I'm thinking of picking one up.
