Unfortunatly pop sold it shortly after getting out of the Navy and the guy he sold it to let his son take it out one night. That kid ende up wrapping it around a tree at 100+ mph

I fully agree with you here.. is the 427 really that slow? thought that thing made around 500hp.. And the it looks way better than a new mustang..
IDK.. I guess I just don't like the styling of older sportbikes.. but it does sound pretty cool with the revs that high and come to think of it, i still get a kick out of the "peaky" hp of my 600.. couldn't imagine what the rg500 feels like.. haha.
To each their own I guess.
