It's not used bikes that are the issue....it's the owners. I've said it before and I'll say it again....you want to buy a used "keeper"?....Look at the owner. I've bought used bikes that I would classify as "neglected". The owners were casual about service and appearance. Then their are the "abusers"....see the above asshats. And then, there are the guys and gals that are ANAL about service....that's who I want to buy a keeper from.
Look and listen to the owner and in 30 seconds of them talking you'll know just what kind of shape that bike is REALLY in..........
