Idk. I posted this over at VFRW and as much as everybody loves the bike too, till I would go pick up the bike myself, or have it shipped... a $1000 bike just became an $1800-$2000 bike. And you can find a built running one for near that price.

Yup. Good deals are always far away. Its the same way with samurais on my forum. The east coast and northerners always talking about getting for $800 or less. Down here, youd be very lucky to not have aome idiot want $3 for a bit to hell one.

I am real interested in the VF1000R as a second bike though. I was originally thinking a gen 3 or gen 4 750, but I've moved the other direction.
