Default iPod \ iPod touch fols - Docks, speaker recomendations

Wife wants one of them speaker docks for iCrack\Touch

Despite having a perfectly good dock on our surround sound system she wants an additional something for the kitchen.

Looking to keep it under $200 (In other words I'm not shelling out a bundle for Bose system)

Recomendations?

Look at some of the Logitech docks. I bought one with a mail in rebate (ended up being $40 instead of $130) and I don't think the Bose sounds much better, plus the Logitech system has a radio which I believe the Bose dock lacks. People just buy Bose for the name. Before I am accused of being a Bose hater, I have an Acousitmass 16 surround system as I got it at a significant discount. I still think it sucks.

We have an iHome one and it works great. It was like $100 ish.

It works with the old iPods, Touch, iPhone and it even comes with an adapter for the shuffle. We've used it with all 5 of the iPods we've had and never had problems.

These three are Canadian so if it asks you for a postal code just put B3T 1C8. These prices are Canadian so the prices you should be able to find should be below your $200 target.

I have used all of these pretty much 5 days a week and I like them.

I also have the ihome, got it for 75% off when one of the radio shacks was closing here. It's pretty good, but I wouldn't pay full price for one.

What do you think of the sound? I think we have that exact one at work and I'm not to impressed.

This is one Ihome system I really like but its still about $260 or so in the US. I only looked on one US site so there might be better deals on it. Canadian again postal code B3T 1C8.

Well its plays the Elvis station on Pandora good enough to dance around to.

I can hear it all over our 800 sq ft apartment so....it works for me.
