Bin Laden was rich in his early life, but his family cut him off after he had a dissagreement during the invasion of kuwait in 91. When they cut him off he was worth an estimated 50mil which he used mainly to fund al qaida, whatever money was left after 9/11 was funnelled away from him by the CIA. Around the same time in early 02 he probably died of a kidney related stroke. The last date verifiable video of him was released way back in early 2002. All the videos and audio messages released since then can not be date verified or proven that it is him.
