I can't see how that would be true. My understanding is that cancer is caused by exposure to man-made toxins, or by having a genetic makeup that doesn't defend your cells against mutation.

More and more they are finding other pathogenic triggers for cancer, such as virii (as in the case of HPV and cervical cancer).

Which makes perfect sense in hindsight, if you know how viri reproduce.
