Not IMO...though you live in MI. I thought they heated up pretty damn well and stuck pretty good for non Race tires. I was running these in the low 70s temps.

^^^Were still buds right? lol
Just fuckin wit ya.....I lived in MI for 7 years and I remember D220s doing the exact same thing. Did a 180 once when I wasn't even on the gas. When it's cold tires just don't stick.

Yea I crashed the same way right after I got my bike...leaving the parking lot! They were BT-016s and I agree that they warm up slower than say, Pirelli Diablos...

Fine, I get that they might warm up slow. No debate, but no tire is gonna be warm the second you start moving.

If you are spinning the rear tire, that does not count. The front or rear must slide sideways.

If I leave my house on both the Pirellis Diablos and The BT-016s at the same time and apply the exact same amount of throttle at the same time, the BT-016s WILL spin up and out sooner. They will also take longer to come up to temp. Now the BT-002RSs on the other hand...

My Corsa III's stuck amazingly well. If they only would have better wear characteristics.
