Don't know about you guys, but I've never needed to wash the inside of my helmet. The outside is a different story I love my RF-1000. It may not cost $700, but it's a great helmet.

Anymore, I think I prefer a non-removable liner. one less thing to get messed up up if the velcro on my gloves stick!

THIS! I washed my liner once at the end of last season. Nothing changed. And it definitely doesn't stink.

Throw a bounce sheet in it during off season and all is good

I just leave it out with air circulating. Never store anything -gloves! or dew rags/bandannas- in it. I usually don't even put it in the Shoei bag it came in.

Anyone else HATE new helmet smell? It's like new car smell 1/4" from your face.
