Flurries here now. I got out of bed at about 1 and my parents said it stuck earlier. Everything that was on the ground is gone. :/ Sucks because I wanted to play with the dog for a bit.

okay and how exactly is buying a nissan Rogue helping out the US job situation? You're killing me!!! There are several US made crossovers if I'm not mistaken. It's always the same, people rant and rave about US companies shipping jobs overseas while they drive their foreign cars and use their foreign products. Don't you see that if polaris made the bikes that we wanted at a price that we could afford, we'd buy them? As long as US companies keep pumping out the same ol same ol, we'll keep buying foreign and jobs will go overseas. It's just that simple.

Nissan has three production plants in the United States - in Smyrna and Decherd, Tennessee, and Canton, Mississippi. My wife drives a Pathfinder that was built in Canton. How is that not prividing American jobs?

I do agree though, while it does employ Americans at the plant the money does go overseas, which is bad for us.

Oh I knew that would be the comeback...just like I'll now say that Polaris must certainly sell products in Mexico. Should the playing field be equal? These are global corporations, why shouldn't they have factories all over the world? Nissan built plants here because it made sense and Polaris is building one in mexico because it makes sense. We need to focus on making ourselves more appealing to corporations not finding ways to penalize them for doing business elsewhere.

was funny this morning, I coasted into the gas station on fumes and was on line with everyone filling their gas cans and the supermarket lot across the street was packed, guess everyone needed to stock up on milk and bread

Momma wants a Rogue, Momma gets a Rogue, Momma wants a Yugo, Momma will get a Yugo...

I never said buy american or boo hoo we is losing jobs. I said US corps that send jobs overseas for corp profit are selling out their own country...How did my thoughts get twisted?

Anyways our snow looks to be rolling in next saturday. Thats when my American assembled Japanese car will get its baptism.
