I didn't do it for very long, I went up for locals night a few times and riding up there at night a lot and that fast just wasn't worth it to me. Deer and boar just too common.

The projector lamp on my GSXR was great, the only problem is it you could see it move around with every little imperfection in the road like it was loose. It was tight, it just moved around a lot. It used to bug the crap out of cages that I would ride behind.

I'm getting HID's for my bike this year. I used to think I had the worst night vision ever and really hated riding at night. Now I just think HID's might alleviate some of those issues. Although, I will hardly ride at night this year since I'm going mainly track.

I love going around sharp curves on unfamiliar roads at night so when I'm looking to the right or left into total darkness my headlights are still pointed straight ahead....NOT !!

HID was probably the best mod I've ever done....not for looks but for safety.

I thought it'd be worse with the DRZ than with my ZZR or RR... what with the soft suspension... but I guess as I don't have the braking power, or acceleration... the lights don't seem to move as much...
but yeah I used to do it all the time to people who looked like they were about to pull out... anything to get their attention. |

For standard lights, the 1125R is really good as well

Definitely not bad.
I'd still prefer to swap in HID's, but haven't really wanted to spend the money or effort on it just yet.
