us PA people are like that. northerners are rude folks.

Yeah, I have people call me and bitch sometimes. It will seem like they're pausing, so I'll try to talk and they'll talk over me bitching some more. If they talk over me twice, I just sit there in complete silence. When they say, "are you going to answer me?" I reply with, "certainly, I just wanted to make sure you were done talking." I've been hung up on a few times for that one. Maybe it's the smartass tone I use when I say it.

When someone gets that way on the phone (live), I do just that. And if they continue (or yell at me) I get reaaaallllly quiet (so they have to lower their voice to hear me) and tell them "If you don't cease use of that sort of language, I'm going to end this phone call." 9 times out of 10, that works. But since this was on my voicemail I didn't get the chance.

I am the Warranty Services manager for a manufacturer. When someone installs our stuff on their house, then has a problem, I'm the one who investigates it. I also handle claims when someone cuts themselves on our material in a Home Depot store and then sues us, and I also handle copyright infringement.

Oh yeah, and product tech support, and I'm also starting to do estimating.
