The eating often throughout the day thing is more for crave control so you don't gorge yourself at meal time... The thing is though, without food for about 6 hours your metabolism starts to drop significantly...

I know what to do... I'm just too fat and lazy to do it.

I have gained 20 lbs in the past 2 months. When I was in the Air Force, I used to run everyday, Now hardly ever..
