well I needed the dual kit (Hi/Lo) so it was 329 shipped to me with a lifetime warrenty.

yeah it's a lot cheaper if you only need dual lows... I think it's like 160 or so...

hmmm... i should look into that, and just keep my regular hi's.

from my understanding, it takes as few secs for HIDs to 'ignite' so in a case where one needs to quickly flash their lights, don't know how that will work. i may be wrong about the timing, but HID hi's will definitely get someone's attention.

It won't work. When I turn on my high beam, it takes it a few seconds to fully ignite.
