Nice gun. What do you do when your purse gets snatched though?

Call the police and tell them that your loaded gun was stolen. That's about the only time I've seen police jump up and get on it. My father had is .357 stolen from his pickup while getting new tires put on. He told the owner that one of his workers stole it and he called the police. A cop showed up and when he told the cop that it was loaded, 4-5 more showed up. They couldn't search any of the workers vehicles without a warrant. The owner did give him money to buy another and my dad called his bank and had them cancel the check he wrote out for the tires.

Worked with an older guy that said he was at a car wash and a woman government employee (not sure of her title) had her government issued pistol stolen out of her car. I believe that's a federal crime do not pass go. He said she called in backup and they locked the place down.

I wish Florida had open carry just so I could carry a Ruger Vaquero on each hip with those kick ass old cowboy holsters with bullet loops, and a lever action rifle slung across my back.

No kidding.
I'd be all over that.

That bill will probably die, but hey, we can hope.
Though, even if it does pass, it'll take time for law enforcement and the public in general to get used to it and you can expect a lot of annoyance in the interim.
