He's trying to make it look like it's HIS choice to leave when the writing has been on the wall for him to be replaced all season. He choked away one of the best rides left in MotoGP....Won't be surprised at all if Dovi or Rossi take that seat....maybe Crutchlow on an outside chance.

Yamaha has been cold to Cal so far. He even mentioned on Twitter that no contract has been offered to him, but there will be one big deal offered to someone else this weekend. Especially with the Ducati offer. More than likely the Yamaha offer will go to Dovi. He is such a consistant rider week in and week out. Cal hasn't even podiumed yet this year....

The Rossi rumor is interesting. I'd say it is a bunch of pishaw, but there is one big factor. Sponsor money. With Fiat leaving after Rossi left and Yamaha GP being broke, if Rossi could pull a considerable amount of sponsor dollars to the program they may cave. I have hear rumors that Rossi is a good friend with Marlboro's big wig (cant remember the name) and that he could pull his sponsorship from floundering Ducati and move with Rossi to Yamaha...
