I'm Muslim. You going to imprison me for not feeding my kid pork if that's all there is to eat?

You NEED to go to jail if you've denied them BACON!

If you let him starve to death because of it, yes. Being the parent of a child does not give you carte blanche to treat that child however you want, religion or no. The Bible says to stone your children to death if they dishonor you, but I doubt you'd get much support if you did that. Not in this country, anyway.

What being a parent does do is place the responsibility for your child's health on your head. Your head, not your god's head.

Those parents will be free to refuse medical treatments for themselves in prison.

My daughter can't say "C's" yet.

Jail would be easier to tolerate than the tantrum thrown for refusing her bay-un.

The government cannot infringe upon your religious beliefs until the practice of those beliefs cause harm to others.
After the first kid died, I can see them getting a slap on the wrist even though it was negligent homicide\ voluntary manslaughter.
Second kid's death goes beyond negligence.
