I wonder if Ducati is feeling like an idiot for not supporting WSBK this year?

I'll wager Checa gets plenty of back door support. And not just from Fabrizio.

Ducati is gonna wait till he wins the title and then crow about "any privateer team could win on a bike this good" Then they will unveil the 2012 GP12 bike that they developed with Rossi/Burgess and are going to homologate it's sales to compete in WSBK and own the series again...

All Troy is developing is a bad case of arthritis. He'll need a walker to get out to the grid by next year...

Ducati is poised tho to become the Ferrari of bike makers. Sure they will toss a 'Tard or a tourer or a cruiser/poser your way and keep the entry level open with nakeds...But as far as race reps I think they will go whole hog on their 1000cc GP design.

Checa has factory support.

Monza will be interesting as Biaggi usually runs away because that Ape is so fast on the straights... have to see if Checa can tweak the 1198 to keep up...

anyone notice how insanely planted it was @ Assen? Biaggi couldnt touch him in the corners...

But 1000cc engines again! Shit spinning up and violently hurling riders, just for the fun of it. For science.
