For every 1 instance of abuse, you have 100 situations where it could be used properly... The problem that we have is that those 100+ situations where it's used properly don't make good news.

Fair enough.

One could argue that for every 1 instance of abuse that makes the news there were 100 situations where abuse took place and no cameras were present.

Why tase someone from 50 - 100 feet? If they are threatening lives, take them out.

If not, I see no reason to give cops another excuse to pull a trigger.
