kawasaki gives me yet another reason to exclaim that the 2003/2004 zx6 is by far the best looking model, IMO of course.

While I like the ER-6n I don't understand dropping the Z1000. They already dropped the Z750S in 2007 after only having it for two years in the US. At least the Z1000 lasted 6 years I guess...

I think the Z1000 was just a way to get rid of a ZX9 engine surplus. Dead sexy bikes for sure, just a small market niche that isn't that profitable in the end.
