My wife hates getting me bike-related stuff. But when she asks me what I wantand I tell her it's something for my bike, she gets it anyway. So far she's gotten me a Shoei, Pilot Powers, my first 1-peice and track 'glass. Thinking I'll ask for a full Graves system or something for the anny/x-mas gift.

that's bad ass... I imagine what she doesn't like doing is trying to pick out things for your bike for you... that's probably why she buys what you pick out...

either way... that's fuck'n cool as hell

I know. I'm with you on that. But, here's how the Ducati world works... my bikes are now OLD. The rest of the crowd has moved on to at least the 999's and 1098's. Pretty soon, the dry clutches will be a thing of the past.

The interesting thing with the bikes I have, I can interchange parts between the three of them. I mean, the 998 and 748 are damn near identical other than the actual motor - even then they have the same injectors and sensors. Even the 1994 monster has parts that have just evolved to the newer bikes. They haven't done that with the new ones.

They do that though with the 848, 1098, 1098s and 1098R. They all have some interchangeable parts.
