Yeah definitely not going to happen. We only have so many engineers and we are all split into 4 different shifts to make sure we have 24/7 coverage of the place since we are all considered essential personnel on site. Basically I don't get off the phone all day during an outage unless I am in a meeting. Plus, we have meetings and shit we got to go to for turnover to our counterparts on night shift when they get here. It sucks.

They would just give me some sudafed and prop me up in my cube. I am going to have to cut a finger or something off, but then they would probably just send me to medical for a bandage. We have our own onsite medical facility.

Well it is a nuke plant, do you really want people just to get up and leave if they are important to the safety and reliability of the plant around your town?
