Trip, I don't know if you are set on building (I would be) but CDNN has a couple DPMS AR-15 carbines for under $600.

Where are yall getting suppressors? Do I have to find someone local? I been thinking about getting one for awhile for my 10/22. Can't you get them for the 223 that will also work with the 10/22? What should I be looking for?

Silencershop.com NFA wait time is at/over a year, so you don't want to add to the wait by ordering something that's not in stock.

.22 will lead up a suppressor so you wan't one that is able to be taken apart for cleaning. A .22 suppressor, 7.62 suppressor and a .45 suppressor will cover you on .17, .22/.223, 7.62/9mm, .40, .45. I'm waiting on a Silencerco Sparrow.

Back in August they got the online form 4 submission up and running. It will eventually make it faster. Atfonline.gov You can submit form 1 and 4s electronically for llc and trusts. Individuals still have to do the paper form. You create an account and then attach your ffl to the account. Once approved you can submit. Has a place to attach copies of trusts or corp paperwork. You pay electronically as well.

Also talked to ATF back in august, they have over 46k forms to approve. They just hired 3 new examiners and 6 more are queued up to be hired. That will double their staff and should help out. It may take 2-3 months for all the examiners to be trained and ready, but once they are I think we'll see a HUGE slash in wait times
