Default Some half finished shots of our new place.

Here's the loft, or "Mantown", if you will.

The retreat part of our bedroom.

IKEA mirror we bought. I hung this and a bunch of other IKEA shit Monday.

Towel rack down our master bath's hallway to the closet (IKEA again)

View down from the loft.

View from half way down the stairs.

Dash

Kitchen (paint will be coming down the road)

Another IKEA mirror I hung.

IKEA DVD rack. I installed the handle, which was meant to go as cabinet handles.

We got some area rugs to buy. Along with some art and painting everything. Still some work to do, but progress was definitely made.

DL, your fucking place is money. Unique, but not retarded. I LOVE lofts... I'd like the build a place one day... a master bedroom that's a loft overseeing the entire living space is something I want more than anything... Ooo... and a place that has no separation between garage and living room. That would be money too.

Like a half wall between the garage and living space? How would the fumes get handled?

No wall. Like I pull in and the bumper of my truck is 2ft off the back of the couch. I'm sure I'd have to rig up some ventilation system to suck the air out when a vehicle comes and goes into the garage... Not a big issue.

I just really like the idea of a living space that's one giant fucking room. Having the master bedroom loft overlook the entire living area would keep it really open, but still separate it somewhat.
