hell i got home from work late tonight and didnt see the foot and a half wide strip of wet leaves at the base of my driveway. slid like 3 feet. almost busted my ass turning in lol

I priced out the parts. New left-side belly pan, new left mirror, new slider puck. Total cost, about $200 to replace everything. The shifter lever also has a scratch on it that you can't really see unless you're lying on the ground.

Don't feel bad man. Most everyone has dropped the bike at one time or the other. Forgetting to put the kickstand down is a big one. I dropped my last bike at the gas station. I filled up, got on the bike, put my foot down in a puddle of oil or antifreeze and my foot just shot out and the bike went down.

Hell, I dropped my KTM because I kicked the side stand down but it popped up and I didn't realize it. I dropped my BMW because my foot slipped on a rock. It happens and if nothing other than minor scratches resulted, then I'm happy.

i almost dropped the pig at the gas station on the TN of the gap because i put my foot on a oil slick and it slid out, it was a leg press to pick that fucker up before it went over on top of me

I have dropped my race bike twice loading it after the races...All day of risking the odds and pushing the envelope and then to slip off the ramp and endo

I few scratches?! I wouldnt even waste the money on new parts unless you actually do REAL damage. It happens to the best of us. Just pick her up and wait till you REALLY go down! Scratches (usually) are just character and lessons learned!

I wouldn't even think of replacing shit on a simple slip and fall.

Don't feel bad. At least now you understand just how heavy your bike gets when not on center. After a Highside last sunday on the freaking way to the track I am now on the stupid crash list myself. Almost 2.5 years of custom paint and perfection I'm tempted to dump tons of money and bring it back from the Depths of two facedum, but I think another crash is on the horizon given my new found love for the track.

Second time on the same side only more broken parts.

Scratches are Gangsta.
