About 400 miles with this supertanker. Have never needed the range but it is kinda nice going on a 250+ mile ride and not have to stop for fuel along the way.
A downside? When this puppy's fuel tank is full don't get it leaning far to the side with your boot on a gravel surface sloping away. Did this while tilting the bike over between the legs for a better book photo. Boot started slipping down the right side slope, the bike heavily and quickly started falling towards the side of the slipping boot. I threw the camera (a sacrificial act), grabbed the bars, the boot caught traction (very fortunately), and saved/righted with serious grunt force what could have been a nasty accident. |
