J.B Weld would take care of that until a new one arrives.

That could definitely be TIG welded and if not that, the JB Weld would probably work just to get you through and actually would probably last the life of the part. The key is to thoroughly clean the part and rough-up the area it will bond to. I once repaired a quarter-sized hole in the side of a 550 Maxim with JB and once it was sanded and polished, you couldn't tell it was ever there.

Yeah that's my plan this weekend. the part actually was only $35 and $2 for rush which cut it down to a week... so hopefully they'll have it by this weekend... but if not... I've got some electrical issues to solve that I've not bothered to do before, but since it's down and I'm bored... (horn and heated grips)
