Oh personally I think dark smoke on that would be killer !!

Ok that's probably one more reason for you to go with the mirrored.

Seriously I liked that helmet the first time I saw it...just didn't realize that's the one you were getting...sharp.

Thanks OTB, already checked em out, but im dead set on the 700. The extra features i wouldnt really use, and dont like the flip down shield. tried it out at the bike show, it was too distracting for me.

actually im glad you said something about which helmet i was getting, cause i was really just opting for the mirrored lens because i wanted one... in retrospect i didnt even try to imagine how it would look on the lid.

dark smoke it is.

Yeah. The tinted in the sun, clear in no sun thing, right? Yeah, they do.

I thought so...I also like the"high visibility" shields from HJC,Arai,Shoei, etc. They are just dark enough to be useful in the day and just light enough that you can see at night.

Looks like I'm late posting but I now prefer clear shields. I owned a mirrores back when I kart raced and it was cool at first but as soon as things (debris/bugs/grease) started bouncing off of it it deteriorated quickly and almost became clear. So then I switched to dark smoke. That was great until I got caught out late one night and couldn't see a tihng on the way home. So... whie I still have some smoke shields I typically use the clear and wear my sunglasses. I won't be caught with a dark shield at night, and the polarized sunglasses are better than any smoked shield anyway. Now if they come out with a polarized shield I might be in trouble .
