I didn't say Haiti wasn't a big deal. I said "fuck haiti." A kid being forced to kill a hamster isn't something that surprises me and not all that much of a concern for me.
There are a lot of big deals in my world, but they wouldn't make very much sense in your world as we don't live in the same region or know the same people IRL.
