Honestly, I'm not shocked by the story. I think it's effed up and don't share your sentiments, but I'm not shocked by it.
I think it's sad that we're not more shocked by this stuff. I think it's pathetic that as a society violence and sociopathy (because that's what this is) has become so commonplace that anyone who is shocked by it is considered to be "sheltered".
